Children's Liturgy of the Word Plants the "Seeds" of Faith |

Our "Seeds" program, designed for 4 & 5 year-olds, takes place during the 9:00 a.m. Mass most Sundays during the school year. Children are dismissed from Mass with a blessing for the Liturgy of the Word aided by catechists in stories, songs and age appropriate activities.
They return to Mass during the preparation of the gifts, to join their families and to celebrate the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
Children's Liturgy of the Word plants the "seeds" of faith that will grow, with the nurturing of the Christian family and the help of the Holy Spirit.
"Christocentricity” in catechesis also means the intention to transmit not one's own teaching or that of some other master, but the teaching of Jesus Christ, the Truth that He communicates or, to put it more precisely, the Truth that He is.
